GoodRx: Prescription Saver App Reviews

No more high priced surprises with new prescriptions. I check right in the doctors office before I even get the prescription. Theres usually a much cheaper alternative and/ or a discount coupon thats even cheaper then going through my insurance. So far all the prices have been accurate.

I was on vacation and ended up in ER with digestive problems. I had antibiotics, pain med, and nausea medication prescribed. I used the app to see what prices were the lowest where I was. The prices varied from a high of 38.50 to a low of 10.00 for the same medication! Saved me $$&&

Good info and can save you big money. However, always check with the business first and do not assume all prices are up to date. Sometimes this company there is a delay with updating the agreement between both parties and the price listed is not correct. Many times the savings is substantial!

GoodRx is for real. Very easy to use with many features to help me keep track of my medications, prices, pharmacies and cost comparisons, even refill dates and reminders if I want. Among its best features: the estimated prices at the various pharmacies are incredibly accurate, often to the penny. I can count on GoodRx to help me budget my Rx costs each month. Between jobs and without health insurance for several months, but nonetheless I have saved hundreds of dollars by using coupons the app funds for me, and by comparing prices and moving certain meds to other pharmacies. In my experience, GoodRx prices are often pretty comparable to regular insurance copays. Great functionality, as app is integrated with Passbook- a breeze to use. Plus, I find that nearly all pharmacy workers understand and are familiar with GoodRx so its not a hassle to get the best prices. Just give the pharmacist the codes (right from your phone, super easy) either when you request refill or when you pick up. My regular pharmacies even keep my GoodRx codes on file and run them each time I refill, thus saving a lot of time and money. Seriously, you WILL be blown away by the savings here. GoodRx is legitimate- free to use, easy to save- its been a godsend for me and I would recommend this especially to people who have multiple monthly prescriptions and/or meds that are traditionally very expensive. Personally, I save SO much money. Thanks GoodRx!

My son takes 5 medications & one was over $154 at Walmart with our insurance. We used GoodRx & paid only $33 at Walgreens! Workin for minimum wage this card has been a life saver!

You cannot combine with insurance but honestly some times the savings through this app are better than what insurance offers. Even reminds you when to refill. Brilliant app.

I never rate apps but this is exactly what you read here. Its a total lifesaver for me and I didnt expect to get my medications cheap but when the pharmacist put the code for my drug in PC and told me it would be $9.00 instead of $44, I was floored to say the least.

What a great way to save a lot of money on prescriptions. Especially if you are on a fixed income!

I saw the tv commercials for Goodrx but did not take it seriously. I do now. My pharmacy told me that one of my heart medicines had tripled in price. Goodrx had it for only $3.00 more than the old price. Huge savings and an app that really works to save me money. Very pleased. Jan 2016 Removed one star as app keeps asking me to rate which I did already. April 2016 App continues to ask me to post a rating. It saved me almost $20 last week so it really works but this is my final rating.

I work in the medical field and love this app to find cheapest med prices for patients! Plus I get my dogs meds significantly cheaper using the coupon they gave me!! I never thought of that! It is half of what I have been paying!!! Easy to use!!

I have no Insurance and I did have a different discount card for my prescription but they said it didnt cover any of my meds, my prescriptions were going to be over $115 I downloaded the GoodRx app and they were down to $29 in 10 minutes!! really this app helped out so much!!

I initially lost my health coverage being 26yrs old, and at first "Walgreens" guy laughed at it for the store was busy, but because the RX (comes and goes from pharms) so to speak. So a last the last few months ever since lucking out, at a semi+local "Krogers" pharmacy in that they honored/entered the info kindly asking...And havent been happier ever since! Almost $200 savings on just one RX, not to mention phenomenal savings on maintenance medications aswell! :) I just hope "The Good RX" app stays "free" per se. As Im a happy camper ;) lol

A quick, easy way to check meds prices. You may even find that paying cash is cheaper than the co-pay cost under your insurance. Last time I used Good Rx, I saved $77 on a three month presciption.
